Terms and conditions
Version 2026-10-14. These terms cover the Talentonics website and business team-development service.
1. Your agreement
Talentonics is operated by Richard Moore, a sole trader trading as Talentonics, at 6 Farm Lane, Send, Woking, Surrey, GU23 7AT, United Kingdom. Contact hello@talentonics.com for support, billing or legal questions. The business is not VAT registered.
The customer is the organisation or business for which a workspace is created. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for that customer when creating a workspace or buying a subscription. Invited participants must follow the access and acceptable-use provisions. A separately signed agreement takes priority where it expressly changes these terms.
2. Development, with human judgement
The service brings together feedback, calibration, coaching plans and progress. Observations and ratings reflect the people contributing them; they are not validated predictions or automated employment decisions. Customers remain responsible for fair development practices, reviewing evidence and their employment decisions. No AI generation or mobile companion is included in the current service.
3. Accounts and ownership
Use an accurate work identity, protect sign-in links and sessions, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. Administrators control workspace access, roles and identity settings. Only the designated workspace owner can use the website’s payment actions. Administrator promotion or directory provisioning does not transfer ownership. Ownership transfers require the recipient’s acceptance; accounts linked to Stripe also require operator review of billing contacts and provider access. Contact support if the owner has left.
4. Plans, renewal and cancellation
Free supports three active assessed people without a card or expiry. Team costs $19 USD per month for up to ten; Team Plus costs $49 USD per month for up to fifty. Optional annual subscriptions are $190 and $490 USD respectively, charged in advance. Managers and reviewers do not consume assessed-person places unless they also have an active assessed profile. Enterprise capacity above fifty, pricing, term and invoicing are agreed separately in writing.
The owner reviews the selected price and billing period before Stripe checkout. Paid subscriptions renew for the same period until cancelled. Your bank may charge its own currency-conversion fees. Any applicable tax must be disclosed before purchase; we do not currently add UK VAT. A complimentary allowance or trial does not itself authorise a payment or convert automatically to paid.
Use Manage subscription on the website to cancel or review a plan change and any adjustment Stripe presents. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Partial periods are not routinely refunded; contact support about an error or service problem. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Cancellation is separate from data deletion. If the active roster exceeds the available allowance after expiry or downgrade, records remain available and the workspace becomes read-only until the roster or allowance is resolved. Payment failures may also restrict writing after any displayed grace period.
We will give the billing contact at least 30 days’ notice of a subscription price change before it applies to a renewal, so the owner can cancel first. A test checkout collects no real money and creates no paid live subscription.
5. Your information and responsibilities
You retain your rights in submitted content and permit us to process it to provide, secure and support the service. Only invite people you are authorised to invite. Provide appropriate employee notices and establish a lawful basis, retention policy and processing arrangements before collecting real employee information. Avoid health, criminal-offence or other sensitive personal data. Do not upload unlawful, discriminatory or abusive content, impersonate others, send unsolicited bulk messages, bypass access controls or interfere with the service.
Feedback visibility follows collection, calibration and release stages. Managers currently have access across their workspace; create separate workspaces where separate manager boundaries are needed. The privacy notice and customer processing arrangements explain the respective data-protection roles and current operational limits.
6. Availability, suspension and ending use
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, but do not promise uninterrupted operation or a specific business outcome. No contractual uptime or response-time SLA applies unless agreed in writing. We may restrict access to address security incidents, unlawful use or material breach, using notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue where practicable. Contact support to arrange workspace closure, return and deletion of customer data. Keep appropriate exports; offboarding or roster archiving is not erasure.
7. Rights, liability and changes
We retain rights in the software and Talentonics brand. Access grants a right to use the service for your business, not ownership of its software. Neither party excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these terms removes applicable statutory rights or data-protection obligations. We do not accept responsibility for decisions made using inaccurate or unlawfully submitted customer information.
Material changes will be communicated to the account owner before taking effect, with reasonable notice where practicable. Urgent security or legal changes may take effect sooner. Existing checkout acceptance records identify the terms version accepted. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; its courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute.
